Coach Agreement – Cartants Platform
Effective Date: 1 October 2025
1. Definitions
Cartants / Platform: The online platform that manages bookings, payments, and communication between clients and coaches. Coach: Any person registered on Cartants to provide coaching or career guidance. Client: The person booking and paying for coaching services. Services: The coaching or consulting sessions delivered through the platform.
2. Registration & Verification
To join, a coach must have a valid certificate in coaching (or a related field) and at least 3 years of experience. Coaches must provide real documents (CV, certificates, recommendations if available). Cartants can accept or reject applications without giving a reason. Fake or misleading information will result in account suspension.
3. Coach Responsibilities
Be on time for sessions and give at least 24 hours’ notice if canceling or rescheduling. Deliver services professionally and with quality (as required by Egyptian Consumer Protection Law 181/2018). Keep client information private (as required by Egyptian Data Protection Law 151/2020). Avoid any inappropriate or illegal behavior on the platform.
4. Fees & Payments
Revenue Share: Cartants keeps 60% of each session fee for marketing, payment, and platform services. The coach receives 40% as payment for their work. Payouts: Payments are made on the 5th of each month, or the next business day if it’s a holiday. Payments are sent by bank transfer in Egyptian Pounds (EGP). Bank fees, taxes, or non-refundable charges may be deducted before payout. Taxes: Coaches are responsible for paying their own taxes under Egyptian Income Tax Law 91/2005.
5. Cancellations & Compensation
Client Cancellation: More than 24 hours before session → Full refund (coach gets nothing). 6–24 hours before session → 80% refund to client (20% kept as platform fee). Less than 6 hours or client no-show → No refund, coach gets their 40% share. Coach Cancellation: If canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show → Coach pays 50% of session fee to client (deducted from earnings). Repeated issues may lead to suspension or account termination. Rescheduling: Allowed if agreed by both sides 24+ hours before session. Less than 24 hours → treated as cancellation. Packages: If a client buys a package, refunds apply only for unused sessions (after deducting platform fees).
6. Intellectual Property
The coach owns their training content (presentations, materials, videos). The coach allows Cartants to use content for marketing (with credit). Content may not be shared outside Cartants without written permission.
7. Data & Confidentiality
Coaches must not share client data with third parties. Cartants protects all data under Egyptian Data Protection Law 151/2020 and Cybercrime Law 175/2018.
8. Changes to Terms
Cartants may update these terms. Coaches will be notified by email or platform message at least 15 days before changes apply. Using the platform after changes means you accept the new terms.
9. Account Termination
Cartants may suspend or close a coach account if: Terms are violated. The coach gets 3 verified complaints in one month. The coach breaks Egyptian laws. A coach can request account closure after completing all commitments to clients.
10. Disputes
Both sides should try to resolve issues peacefully. If not possible, disputes will go to arbitration at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, under Egyptian Arbitration Law 27/1994.
11. Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Events)
Neither Cartants nor the coach is responsible if services are delayed or stopped because of events outside control (like natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions).
